The ghost of Steve still haunting SportsNet even though Steve's moved on. Most of the awkwardness is caused, I think; by this guy clearly getting instructions to make it his own and not be like Steve, all while doing one of Steve's old jobs. Hard to be natural when you're specifically not acting like one person in particular. Hope it improves, and hope Steve feels safer doing things his way too without his former employer thinking he's stealing stuff he created for them.
Does this mean Steve can do his own Dang It’s again on his own channel?

This guy definitely represents sportsnet. Tried way too hard to be relatable and funny, and somehow ends up annoying.

I like this, the dialogue is razor sharp, waaaaay more brutal. I also like that there is less focus on the host and more on the fails. Keep it coming, I'm about the sport, not the catchphrases.

Steve is legitimately one of the most likeable people on the planet . If you don’t like him it’s a massive red flag lol
I think you are both a bit extreme. Steve was a great entertainer, but sometimes he was just repeating the same old joke over and over again.
There are people with opinions and then there are people who are just wrong. You sir, are the latter…
