Duhelna Tetiana, née Pavlyshyna (Ukrainian: Тетяна Миколаївна Дугельна, born in 1970, July 12) is a Ukrainian writer, journalist, public figure and a psychologist. Her works are being translated into several languages.

Duhelna Tetiana has written more than 20 books on the couples and family psychology, gender psychology, methods of dealing with psychosomatic disorders and personality crises, philosophical and worldview essays.

She is an author of the patented methods of personality development, restoration, preservation of psychic, mental, and physical health.

With over 20 years of psychotherapeutic practice, she became a well-known expert and writer in Ukrainian and foreign media. She hosts her own "Kalyna" ("Калина") YouTube channel (2012) and founded "Start with Yourself[1]" media project (which was broadcast until 2020 on the information portal "Journalist"[2]).

Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Tetiana Duhelna is concentrating on a wartime short-form writing. Some of her works have been already published. She also has began conducting psychological support groups and educational broadcasts. They are aimed to help viewers and listeners to overcome crisis states and adapt to the challenges of the wartime.

Since October 2022, Tetiana Duhelna has started her own research about Ukrainian traditions, rituals and customs (broadcasted on the "Kalyna" channel). The mission of this research is to restore Ukrainian's genetic memory of their national and cultural customs, rituals and traditions.

Life

Duhelna Tetiana was born in the village of Dzhulynka, Vinnytsia region, Ukraine. The writer's father Pavlyshyn Mykola Grigorovich was an agricultural worker; mother Pavlyshyna Kateryna Ivanivna (née Malyovana) was a saleswoman in a village store. Duhelna Tetiana and her husband, Duhelniy Vitaliy, have two daughters, a granddaughter and a grandson.

Tetyana Dugelna has carried out more than 30 scientific and research expeditions to different countries of the world, including Egypt, India, Mexico, China, Japan, the Baltic countries as well as European. She studied at the leading educational centers in the East. She taught her own educational programs in France, Romania and Egypt. She integrates leading experience and knowledge from different countries into her writing. At the same time, she is currently studying the early periods of Ukrainian history and culture, in particular Trypillya.

In 1977–1985 Tetiana studied in Bershad's Secondary School #1. And in 1988 Vinnytsya Medical College named after Academician D. K. Zabolotny, majoring in “medical assistant-laboratory assistant”.

In 2000-2006 Duhelna graduated with honors from Kyiv International University[4], Faculty of Psychology. In 2002 she obtained a qualification of a thanatologist at the ANO “Institute of Thanatotherapy” (Moscow).

In 2003 Tetiana received a "Conflict management in modern organizations specialist" certificate on the basis of the “Ukrainian Association of Organizational and work psychologists".

In 2004 Tetiana completed advanced training courses in psychotherapy at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy and received an education of a psychotherapist. The same year she completed a training course at the Kharkiv Institute of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management and received a certificate in the field of positive psychology and psychotherapy, transcultural family therapy and psychosomatic medicine. Same year she obtained the qualification of "Holodynamics master" studying with the Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, L. A. Popova.

In 2006 Duhelna Tetiana improved her qualifications at the P. L. Shchupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education[5].

In 2007 she attended a seminar by Stanislav Grof[6] on the topics: "The Greatest Journey: Consciousness and the Mystery of Death", "The Roots of the Global Crisis and Ways Out of It". Tetiana also participated in the scientific and practical seminar by Nossrat Peseschkian on the topic "Positive Psychotherapy in Action".

In 2008 Tetiana completed her studies on "Working with Sexual Disorders in Positive Psychotherapy" topic at the Ukrainian Institute of Positive Psychotherapy with the support of the International Association of Positive Psychotherapy.

In 2010 she studied with Bert Hellinger, the author of Family Constellations, and attended a "Success in Life. Success in the Profession. How to Achieve Them Together" seminar, organized by the Ukrainian Association of Family Constellations. She attended an "Understand Your Body's Signals. Metaphysics of Illness" (Kyiv) seminar by the world-famous psychotherapist Lise Bourbeau[7] at the Kyiv Educational Peacemaking Center "Promicenter".

In 2011 Duhelna studied at the International Program of Volodymyr Baskakov "Body Culture" in the specialty "Working with the Fear of Death."

In 2012 the writer received a diploma for completing Gustav Vodichka's "Small Literary Form" course.

In 2014 she studied "Systemic Sexology" at the Higher School of Psychology (Kyiv) by the Professor Volodymyr Domoratsky.

In 2017 Tetiana improved her writing skills at the "Laboratory of the First Line" course by Julia Dyka.

In 2023 Duhelna participated in "Psychological Assistance to Military Personnel and Their Relatives" course at the South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development of Managers and Specialists in the Socioeconomic Sphere of the State Institution "K. D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University".

In 2005 Tetiana Duhelna and her husband found one of the first centers of family psychology in Ukraine, "Leleka"[10]. The center was set to help families to improve the quality of their communication, to resolve conflicts productively and to help children to develop their abilities. The center served as an internship for students who studied psychology at Kyiv International University and other Kyiv universities.

In 2006, Duhelna prepared and held a Round Table on the "The Path of Creative Self-Disclosure in the Space of Conscious Love" topic at the "Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv".

In 2006, Tetiana received the Gold Medal and the "Pride of the University" diploma for high academic achievements, active public position and professionalism[11]

In 2006, she participated in the International Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations "Family from A to Z" that was held with the support of the "United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF" and the assistance of the "Ministry of Health of Ukraine", and the "Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Ukraine".

In 2010 Tetiana's first book was published. "And a Woman was created" is a book about the relationships between men and women, it was republished five times and became a bestseller in Ukraine.

In 2010 Tetiana received the "Woman of the Third Millennium" Award [12] for "Educational activities and popularization of psychological assistance to the population".

In 2010 she received the Ukrainian Culture Foundation Award "For Special Merits in the Development of Psychology and Pedagogy in Ukraine".

2011 Nomination "Psychologist-Expert of Ukraine" for a record number of contacts with the media at the psychological competition held by the Women's Festival "Anima".

In 2012, the organizing committee of the Odessa festival "Vita-fest" expressed gratitude to the writer for her support, professionalism, competence and dedication to a noble cause.

In 2017 in co-authorship with Anna Voznyuk (translator, orientalist) Tetiana initiated a translation of the "Poetry of Emperor Meiji" from Japanese into Ukrainian to celebrate the Year of Japan in Ukraine[13]

In 2021 the presentation of Tatiana's book "Absolute Energy of Love" was held at the "Roman Ivanychuk Lviv Regional Library for Youth".

In 2022, essays on the Russian-Ukrainian War (since 2014) were published in the Literary Almanac "Vidrodzhennia"

In 2023, the presentation of the book "UKRAINE. Reborn in Fire. Chronicles of Victory" was held at the Vinnytsia Otamanovsky Library

Tetiana Duhelna has written, published and republished more than 25 books, including electronic ones. The books "And A Woman was created", "Rise Beyond Resentments", "The Sound of Truth. Start Awareness from Yourself", "The Rainbow of an Open Heart. Spiritual Practices for Managing Emotions", "The Female Body Knows How to Love", "The Smile of the Soul. Harmonizing Tales of Joy and Love" became bestsellers and were published in circulations of more than 3,000 copies each.

She collaborates with media in Ukraine and the CIS countries as an expert in the field of family relations, author of articles in the media[14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25]
