Parkinson's disease

edit

You've been flooding my watchlist today with edits to Parkinson's disease! I was wondering if you would like any help with the page as I think it has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work! IntentionallyDense (Contribs) 19:31, 16 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi, IntentionallyDense, I had a (rare) bit of free time, so am only trying to start on some of the citation cleanup. I'm almost finished alphabetizing the journals. Once I've finished that, you might want to have a go at it ... I'm not sure I trust any of the content integrity, so spot checking on that would be a good idea, and the number of sources that I removed as unused is concerning, as a number of them were good sources. In about an hour I'll be done with all I have time to do. It's such a highly viewed article that it would really be worth your effort! I wish I could help out more, but the situation at home makes that not possible. Best regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:57, 16 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good! I'm currently focusing on cleaning up Major depressive disorder but it's helpful to know where you left off! Best of luck on and off wiki! IntentionallyDense (Contribs) 03:29, 17 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
IntentionallyDense I have finally been able to hire a few hours weekly of respite care at home, so I may (no promises) find time this week to try to find and fill in the broken citations at Parkinson's. Casliber might help out at MDD. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:34, 17 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good, I'll keep a close eye on the page. The thing I was going to focus on was getting the page more in compliance with MEDDATE as well as I'm sure there is some excellent neurology and Parkinson's focused textbooks we could interoperate more. The other thing I was going to focus on was getting rid of some the citations from some of the odd journals that aren't indexed or not indexed in many databases and have a very low impact actor as well as some of the more questionable sources.
