@ykAfterlife I dont think you know how to read. Respawn would sell the game instead of the game being free. So they would make money off people getting their accounts banned.

Same 2 perma bans for one singular swear word not even a slur with 1 or no prior warnings. But ppl like this can just play for hundreds of hours ruining everyone’s life with no consequences whatsoever.

That should be illegal. Players have all the tools and Respawn has all the resources to let players curate what they want to see. Instead you get a 7 day suspension and a ban for a second time "offense" for anything that triggers an automated system. Japanese players telling you to run away in chat still haven't been unbanned. People saying Andrew Tate in chat still haven't been unbanned, as gay as he is. Cheating in an online game should be the singular reason anyone can be banned because it actively devalues your product because it makes legitimate players leave. Player conduct never passes that litmus test because you have the tools to not see and not hear anything you don't want to.

This isn't even that bad. You can tell it's FOV is about the size of the flatline hipfire reticle at a standstill. He's also using it on controller. Rage hacking would be a lot more obvious. The walling was very on the nose but that's common in Apex. Has been for years and it's only gotten worse. Anyone walling and just walling has not been banned yet. Then you have Chronus, XIM, strikepacks, ReaSnow, REWASD, scripting in general, plus a bunch of other products I missed, have been completely undetected for years. All of them would be incredibly easy to see from an input standpoint and they choose not to do it.

Region locking takes care of most cheaters and locks them in Asia. Russia should also be it's own region. Beyond that, they can't capture basic things with stats alone, which would be just fine for most cheaters as they can be fooled.

@@billsnyder2887 The solution to snare was making enemies immune to snare for the duration of the snare cooldown of whoever hit you first. Then remove double snare. And remove damage. It doesn't need damage.

We used to have it for essentially nothing. Regardless a felony charge is fine. You are committing fraud if you stream while cheating and you're actively devaluing a product for a company. If you go out golfing and ruin the game for everyone else there, who paid some kind of fee, or pays you in some other way which you rely on, the police arrest that guy and they get trespassed. Applying that to videogames takes setting precedent in court, from there it's simple.

@@cristianhernandez1719 It doesn't need to be paid. A game is a game is a game. If the rules are set, you are actively disrupting someone's business. The game is free but it generates revenue. Why do you think the makers of the AI cheats got smoked by Activision lawyers all those years ago? They knew full well the genre would be dead if they got out to too many people. You can't just go around terrorizing businesses and not be held accountable. Cheating in videogames is that. Developers, publishers and shareholders are all looking at profit margins for sales of full priced games as well as player count. Free games have their own revenue models and the shareholders are very invested in player counts. If people can cheat whenever the fuck they want and push players away, you are disrupting their business. That's a crime, the precedent for disrupting a business in the videogame world just hasn't been established yet.

Solo queue should be the easiest, most true test of someone's rank. Stacking should throw the book at you with much higher buy in RP costs.
